Membership Drive Sweepstakes

As part of a drive to bring new members to Earthineer, we're running a Membership Drive Sweepstakes.



Several companies have also generously offered to supply us with our first sweepstakes products. Grainmaker has donated one of their grainmills (No. 99) to be given away. Backwoods Home has offered up magazine subscriptions, which we'll be giving away on a weekly basis (as well as their "whole sheebang" package). We'll also be giving away 2 VIP passes to the Mother Earth News Fair in Puyallup, WA.

Here is how the sweepstakes will work:

Each person that signs up between now and June 3rd will be automatically entered (all current members are grandfathered in, so you have a chance to win too). Each friend that you invite (that signs up) will earn you another entry. So, if 10 of your friends sign up, you'll get 10 additional entries.

Each week, we'll select an entry at random, contact them, and ship their prize.

In order for us to know who gets credit for inviting the new earthineer, you'll need to send the invites from Earthineer. Under your "Friends" page, you have a section for inviting others. Click on "Invite a Friend", and it will drop down the following form:



Just enter the email address, your name, a message, and click submit.

FAQ

I joined Earthineer before the sweepstakes started. Can I still participate?

Yes. You are automatically eligible to win.

I've already invited friends to join. Can I get credit for all of the friends that I've already invited?

Unfortunately, no. We debated this early on. Since the purpose of this sweepstakes is to make more people aware of Earthineer and drive more members to the site, we want to encourage new invites. However, the friends that you had invited (who joined) are also eligible to win.

If I invite a friend to join, are they entered into the sweepstakes?

Yes. Everyone who joins Earthineer is entered into the sweepstakes.

So, if I invite friends to join, that increases my chances of winning?

Correct. Each person that you invite (who also joins), gives you another entry.

How do you know if I invited someone?

If you send the invite from Earthineer (or copy and paste the link provided on your Friends page), we'll know who the invite came from, and give you credit for bringing them here.

Can I win more than once?

Yes. Each weekly drawing will be at random, and it's possible that your name will come up more than once.

Absolutely. This is simply a membership drive. You don't have to purchase anything to participate.

Will you be giving away anything else?

Possibly. If other companies donate products to the sweepstakes, we'll gladly add them to the list of giveaways.
